- Procurement Plan for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Study for Takon Site Dedicated to the Storage of Hazardous Materials. The Government of Benin acting through its representative - MCA-Benin II, has received grant funding amounting to Three Hundred and Seventy-Five Million United States Dollars (US $375,000,000) from the Millennium Challenge Corporation (“MCC”), an agency of the United States Government, to enable MCA-Benin II to implement the MCC Compact (the “Program”) and achieve its objectives. In the framework of this Program, it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the funds to payments for contracts for goods, works and services. The Government of Benin-s contribution to the Program is Twenty-Eight Million One Hundred and Twenty-Five Thousand United States Dollars (US $28,125,000). The Contracts for Goods, Works and Services financed under the Program will be implemented according to the principles, rules and procedures set out in the MCC Program Procurement Guidelines which can be found at the MCC website at https://www.mcc.gov/resources/doc/program-procurement-guidelines. The procurements are open to all bidders/consultants from eligible source countries as defined in the MCC PPG. The specific procurement notices for the contracts to be tendered under the competitive bidding procedures for works, goods, consultant and non consultant services will be announced, as they become available, on the MCA website at http://www.mcabenin2.bj, United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Online website at http://www.devbusiness.com/, Development Gateway Market (dgMarket) website at http://www.dgmarket.com/, in local newspapers, and other media outlets as appropriate.
